No idea if this is allowed in my apartment complex but I’m doing it anyway. This is my new pet.

This was the street I live on in February. It seems like yesterday. It’s finally warm enough that the snow is gone, but I still don’t trust Niigata weather.

I got homemade chocolates from one of my students for Valentines Day. They look like little puddings and rabbits.

My students at the tech school are getting much easier to teach. They still talk in class a lot, but I’ve noticed that more and more of them are at least trying the assignments I give them. At the beginning of the year my JTE told me “Give them easy work and games. They’re not very good at English.” Well, I give them hard work sometimes anyway. They surprise me in that they’re always eager to at least try. They like being challenged, and I enjoy working with them.

Just another cat. This one was a kitten named Mikan. He was friendly ad the most active, but he also had a very short attention span and got easily annoyed if anyone touched his feet.
